Travel Documents:
Unlike most countries that issue their visas in their embassies abroad, the Bhutan visa is issued only when you arrive in the country. You must apply for a visa in advance through your tour operator. The visa will be processed by your tour operator and a confirmation number will be sent to you. Your visa will be stamped on your passport when you arrive at either Paro airport or Phuentsholing if you are traveling by road.
Please note that visas will be issued only when you have completely paid for your trip. Druk Air will not issue your tickets to Paro unless you produce a visa confirmation number.
Package includes:
In Bhutan, it includes meals, lodge, overland transportation within the country, guides, cultural programs and also mineral water outside the hotel and lodge. For the Treks, it includes the best available tents (Northface), thermo rest mattress, air pillows, sheets, meals, dining tents, kitchen tents, toilet tents and experienced staff like guides, cooks, waiter and we also provide horse to carry your luggage and riding horse, but you should inform at the reservation. For camping it provide same with as trekking but instead of horse we provide cars and buses. The formalities for the especial permitted will be done by our company.
The packages do not include your airfare, airport taxes, visa fees, immunizations personal gifts, drinks at the hotel (excluding welcome drink), excess baggage, personal equipment rentals, medical hospitalization and rescue operations by helicopter.
Treks /Tours/Camps can be designed as per your personal requirement.
Reservations:
It would help to book at least one month/ 30 days in advance, as the infrastructure in Bhutan can handle only a limited number of tourist, but for emergence and on special request you also can but for this special package we charge 5% to 10% more on your daily charge. March to May and September to November normally have many festivals being celebrated at that time, and tourist inflow is maximum during these period.
Insurance:
The purchase of “medical, baggage and trip cancellation insurance” is strongly recommended in your home country before the commencement of your journey. Besides reimbursement of non-refundable air tickets, it should also cover the cost of rescue operations, by helicopter in the event of an evacuation. However, all the local charges must be paid by the client before leaving Bhutan/Nepal/India/Tibet.
Responsibilities:
Bhutan Namdruk Adventure and Expedition Company or its Associated Companies or Agents disclaim all liability for accidents or damages resulting from travel related services by reason or defect, or other act while engaged in a trip.
Should the Trek/Tour/Expedition be delayed due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, like flight cancellation and weather conditions, the company will charge after consulting Department of Tourism; in the case of treks/tours/expedition in Bhutan.
There will be cancellation fees depending on the proximity to the departure date, if a trip is confirmed. But there will be no refunds once the trip has begun.
Entry Overland:
Bhutan can be entered overland via Phuentsholing and Samdrupjongkar, the towns bordering India. For this add an additional day.
