Snowman Trek 2013

We are organizing Snowman Trek,  World Hardest Trek in 2013. Go through the details.

Date From: 22nd September 2013 to 24th October 2013.

Duration: 33 days.

Minimum Person in Group:  6 Person.

Cost:

    • Price for 6 to 8 guests: USD 260 per person per night.
    • Price for 9 guests and above: USD 250 per person per night.

 

The cost is inclusive of the following:

  • All internal taxes and charges (including the royalty tax)
  • Accommodation in Government approved Hotels on twin sharing basis
  • All Meals
  • All travel with a licensed Bhutanese Tour Guide
  • All Internal Transport
  • Camping Equipment and Haulage for Trekking Tours(A-line sleeping tents-double tent occupancy, dining tents, kitchen tents, toilet tents, mattresses, and sheets)
  • Trekking cooks and trek assistant.
  • Supply of pack and riding pony.
  • Entry fee to all temples & dzongs and to one museum
  • First aid kit with non-prescription medicines.

Price does not include:
Travel insurance.
Rescue operations by helicopter.
Airfare.
Transfer and services outside Bhutan (see below for air travel to Bhutan)
Visa fee of US $ 20 per person and US $10 tourism development fund  per person.
Wire transfer fee for transferring tour payment from your bank to Bhutan.
Excess baggage fees.

Personal shopping & bottled drinks (alcoholic or soft drinks)
Single tent occupancy = Additional USD 10 per night per person
Single room occupancy = Additional USD 25 per night

For information, for the 2012 spring season (low season), the cost of Druk Air tickets (Economy class, one way, including taxes, fees and charges) WERE as follows:

1. From BKK (Bangkok) to Paro = USD 441.60
2. From CCU (Kolkata) to Paro =USD 230.50
3. From KTM (Kathmandu) to Paro = USD 209.90
4. From DEL (Delhi) to Paro = USD 387.70

The cost will go up somewhat for Sept/October 2013. Will advise asap but these fares are not available currently.

Baggage Allowance & Info

Please bring with you a soft waterproof duffle bag (no wheels)

Weight is limited to one bag per person, 18kgs maximum

It will be possible to leave a small bag in Paro with clean clothes to be recuperated in Bumthang at the end of the trek for the next 3 days of sightseeing
